SUP Beginners course


This 2 hour course is a beginner's complete introduction to the sport:

  • - Carrying the Equipment
  • - Safety
  • - How to Hold the Paddle
  • - Stance on the Board
  • - How to Fall
  • - Flat Water Paddling
  • - Different Types of Turn
  • - Planning a Distance Route
  • - Changing Stance to Catch a Wave

All equipment is provided, just turn up with a towel.

We run our beginners courses in the shallow lagoons here at Hayling. The sea bed is sandy and the water is super flat and shallow making it an ideal, safe place to learn.

All of our instructors are fully BSUPA qualified.

Our staff are all experienced water sports instructors, and safety and fun are our primary objectives.
